Golddiggers Membership Information

The Golddiggers are an organized group of volleyball enthusiasts supporting the University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Women's Volleyball program and its student-athletes. Through your membership in this group, you will become a vital part of the Golden Gopher Womens Intercollegiate Volleyball program ... you will experience the excitement that surrounds Division I women's intercollegiate athletics. Your membership in the Golddiggers Booster Club provides support for the University of Minnesota women's volleyball program and the student-athletes who are striving for academic and athletic excellence. Your membership and participation also help to increase fan attendance, community support, and enthusiasm for the sport.

As a Golddigger, you are also invited to attend the annual First Practice and Dinner event in August, post-match receptions during the regular season, and the team's annual post-season awards banquet in early 2007. We are also working on plans for a tailgate party, a road trip to Wisconsin, and other booster activities. The Golddiggers host an informal reception for the players, coaches and booster club members after Saturday night home matches in the Club Room at the Sports Pavilion. These are opportunities for you to meet individual players and coaches one-on-one -- to learn more about them as student-athletes and as individuals. You will meet fellow volleyball enthusiasts, build important relationships and make lasting friendships.
