The Gopher Volleyball Team set the single-match attendance record for 2004, when nearly 11,000 people came to Williams Arena to watch Minnesota defeat Illinois. We want to do that again on October 29th, when Indiana comes up to face the Gophers, but this time, we want every seat in Williams Arena filled!
General admission tickets are just $1 -- and that includes plenty of seats down near
the court, so get there early, and snatch a great seat for a great price. Tell all your friends
and family to come along and experience Big Ten volleyball on a raised stage. If you're on a
high school or club team, you can get an even better deal by arranging for the whole team to
come see the match for free.

Join the Nationally Ranked Gopher Women's Volleyball Team for a FREE fan clinic on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 from 7:00-8:30pm in the Sports Pavilion.
The clinic will feature Coaches Mike Hebert, Dave Boos, and Jill Pearson, and members of the 2005-2006 Gopher Volleyball Team.

The coaching staff will again hold "chalk talks" before most Saturday matches during the Big Ten season. These are open only to Golddigger members, and will be held from 5:30PM until about 6:15PM in the Williams Arena Media Room (2nd floor, next to the elevator). If you want to learn more about how the coaches plan out their strategy, what the players are going to be doing out on the court, and why they're going to be doing it, this is the place to be! Because of the extra activity surrounding the Williams Arena match on October 29th, there will not be a chalk talk prior to the match against Indiana that night.
The Gophers will be holding a scrimmage, open to the public, from 7-9PM on Thursday, September 1st. Come by and see how the team is doing.

Come join us on September 5th -- Labor Day -- prior to the match against #1 ranked Nebraska. The
UofMN is putting together a tailgate party running from 11AM to 1PM.
The menu includes pop, chips and hot dogs. Admission to the event is $3. University students can attend for free, with a valid UofMN ID.
We are still uncertain of the location. The best bets are on the west side of the Pavilion next to lot 36, the paved area near the daily entrance (University Ave side), and the grassy space on the University Ave side, next to the Williams/Pavilion lighted signboard.

Follow the Gophers on the road! We're going to take a roadtrip to Wisconsin and Northwestern Sept 23/24, and will work on getting individuals headed out for other road trips coordinated with others, if they want.
